North Lakes Sports Club has announced applications for its Summer Season Sports Grants are now open.
CSC Group Sports & Community Manager, Tony Clarke said the club is looking for local sporting clubs and associations that need support for their upcoming 2019 summer season.
“We would love to see applications from clubs that consider the Moreton Bay region as its primary catchment area,” Mr Clarke said.
“Moreton Bay Regional Council Divisions Four and Seven are the general areas in which the sporting clubs should operate.
“Previous Winter Grants recipients for mid-2019 are excluded from applying for this round of sponsorship, to allow other sporting groups to access the funding.”
Clubs whom primarily operate during the summer season are invited to apply for the North Lakes Sports Club grants.
Each club must be an affiliated, not-for-profit sporting club or association.
Since opening its doors in 2017, North Lakes Sports Club has provided a total of 47 seasonal sporting sponsorships across four rounds of sporting development funding, covering more than 5,000 participants.
For the 2018-19 financial year, this totalled over $60,000 in grants to sporting clubs and venue operating costs at the three North Lakes sporting complexes leased by CSC Group.
Applications for the 2019 Summer Sporting Grants close on Friday 16th August 2019 with the announcement of successful clubs expected to take place in early September.
