North Lakes Sports Club – Sporting development fund

Overview

North Lakes Sports Club's Sporting Development Fund provides major support to local sporting clubs in the North Lakes and surrounding regions in two rounds every year. Funding is available to sporting clubs and association within our service region to help them build junior development programs, improve facilities and or purchase equipment to promote sport and a healthy and active lifestyle. Assistance available to organisations/groups will be assessed on an individual basis.

Eligibility

To be eligible for Sporting Development Funding your organisation:

Must be a registered not-for-profit sporting club or association that is based within, and or provides tangible services to, the community located within our defined community support area of divisions 4 & 7 of Moreton Bay Regional Council.
May be an organisations/group from outside this area, however preference is given to groups serving within the above mentioned divisional boundaries.
May be an organisations/group from outside this area that provides emergency support or similar services to our local or another community, which at the discretion of North Lakes Sports Club's Management Committee, is deemed worthy of support.
Cannot be a school or other educational institution.

Conditions

Applicants must demonstrate a need for the financial assistance and provide detailed information on how the funding would be used to assist their club/association.
The proposed recipient must acknowledge the assistance provided by North Lakes Sports Club.
The proposed recipient must agree to provide information to the North Lakes Sports Club on the results that have been achieved as a result of the support provided and agree to this information being used to notify third parties at its discretion.
Applicants must agree to participate in photographs or interviews with media and acknowledge the assistance provided by North Lakes Sports Club wherever possible.

How to apply

Applications for funding from our Sporting Development Fund are completed in two rounds every year. Applications close Friday 31st January, 2020.

Outcome of application

While all applications that meet the above-mentioned criteria will be considered by the Management Committee, some applications may not be successful. All applicants will receive written notification of the outcome of their application.
