North Lakes Sports Club is proud to announce that applications are now open for its 2018-19 Summer Sporting Sponsorship Funding. Sporting clubs and associations that are registered with Queensland Fair Trading and consider North Lakes as a key service area are encouraged to apply.
CSC Group Sport & Community Manager, Tony Clarke said funding that results in increasing membership diversity; expanding coaching and officiating numbers and skills; and purchasing vital sporting equipment are favourable application areas.
“Our three previous rounds of sports development funding, which commenced in early 2017, now shows a total of 24 seasonal sporting sponsorships provided. Those sponsorship rounds benefited 6,066 seasonal player registrations, Mr Clarke said…
“As well as these cash sponsorships, profits from North Lakes Sports Club have covered all electricity bills and various building maintenance costs at the Kinsellas Sports Complex, Woodside Community Centre and Sports Grounds, and Aurora Boulevard Park, all of which are leased by CSC Group to further support local sport in North Lakes”.
The sporting clubs who’ve been supported by North Lakes Sports Club include Deception Bay Branch Little Athletics Centre, Deception Bay Football Club (Soccer), Lakers Softball Club, Moreton Bay Cycling Club, North Lakes (Leopards) Junior Rugby Union, North Lakes Blues Netball Club, North Lakes Kangaroos District Rugby League, North Lakes Eels Junior AFC, North Lakes Mustangs Football Club, North Lakes Table Tennis Association, Pine Rivers Boars Rugby Union, Queensland Christian Soccer Association, Queensland Oztag North Lakes, Redcliffe Tigers AFC, Redcliffe Triathlon Club, The Lakes Cricket Club, The Lakes Football Club, and North Lakes Table Tennis Association.
North Lakes Sports Club and Caboolture Sports Club form part of the CSC Group, which last year donated over $1.9M back into their local communities.
Applications for the 2018-19 summer sporting grants close on Friday 31st August 2018 with the announcement of successful clubs expected to take place by early September.
